Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Stephenville Crossing Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Stephenville Crossing are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulations 821/78 and 137/87 are repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at Indian Head and running north 45° east 3,800 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill south of Gull Pond;

Then north 21° 2,380 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill northeast of Gull Pond;

Then north 43° east 1,700 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill;

Then south 89° east 4,550 metres, more or less, to the intersection of Rushy Brook with a stream from Long Gull Pond;

Then following that stream to Harry's River and following Harry's River and the St. George's River shoreline of Stephenville Crossing to Main Gut;

Then following the coastline of St. George's Bay by way of Rothesay Bay to Indian Head, the place of beginning;

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and, as with distances given, are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 mapping.
