Town of Terrenceville Order
under the
Municipalities Act
(O.C. 96-170)

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Terrenceville Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Terrenceville are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 841/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point at the mouth of an unnamed stream which intersects the south shoreline of the northeast arm of Fortune Bay at Ryle Barrisway and then running south 60° east a distance of 2,750 metres, more or less;

Then running north 60° east a distance of 6,100 metres, more or less;

Then running north 20° west a distance of 2,750 metres, more or less, to a point on the southern bank of Terrenceville Brook;

Then running in a generally southwest direction along the south bank of Terrenceville Brook to a point on the east bank of the sand bar to the northeast of Terrenceville;

Then following the sinuosities of the shorelines around the east and west shorelines of the sand bar and continuing in a generally southwesterly direction via Terrenceville to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to the true meridian.
