Dildo Run Provincial Park Proclamation
under the
Provincial Parks Act
(O.C. 96-189)
Under the authority of section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act
, the Lieutenant?Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the Schedule to be a provincial park.
The Dildo Run Park Proclamation, Newfoundland Regulation 197/80, is repealed.

Schedule
All that piece or parcel of land situate and being on New World Island in the province, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the southerly limit of the highway, 30.5 metres wide, extending between Virgin Arm and Hillgrade with the easterly limit of a local road 20.1 metres wide;
Then running along that easterly limit of the local road south 28° 44' west 12.9 metres, more or less;
Then running by land in possession of the New World Island Lions Club south 49° 29' east 21.6 metres, and then south 55° 16' east 74.7 metres, and then south 64° 15' east 38.9 metres, and then south 49° 58' east 24.9 metres, and then south 33° 03' east 12.8 metres, and then south 14° 14' east 19.6 metres, and then south 3° 21' east 31.2 metres, and then south 12° 44' east 37.7 metres, and then south 37° 42' east 33.1 metres, more or less;
Then running along the northerly shore of Dildo Run at low water mark to a point being distant 3,961.4 metres as measured on a bearing of south 80° 29' east from the last-mentioned point;
Then running by Crown land north 21° 55' west 1,737.3 metres, more or less;
Then running along the southerly limit of the highway leading to Hillgrade south 69° 30' west 129.4 metres, and then south 61° 22' west 100.6 metres, and then south 53° 52' west 142.5 metres, and then south 49° 47' west 123.9 metres, and then south 38° 16' west 50.7 metres, and then south 56° 45' west 54.2 metres, and then south 54° 16' west 364.4 metres, and then south 56° 13' west 387.8 metres, and then south 62° 05' west 73.7 metres, and then south 76° 56' west 231.9 metres, and then north 84° 11' west 1,194.3 metres, and then north 84° 03' west 432.5 metres, and then south 86° 43' west 205.9 metres, and then south 77° 42' west 201.8 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning and containing an area of 327.6 hectares, more or less.
All bearings being magnetic.
