CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 1046/96

Dungeon Provincial Park Proclamation
under the
Provincial Parks Act
(O.C. 96-189)

Under the authority of section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the Schedule to be a provincial park.

                   The Dungeon Park Proclamation, Newfoundland Regulation 123/83, is repealed.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Lance Cove in the province, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point in the easterly limit of the Lance Cove Road, 20 metres wide, extending between Spillars Cove Road and the Cape Shore Road, that point having reference from Crown Lands Control Monument No. 937035;

Then running south 23° 38" east 558.82 metres, and then south 24° 13' 53" east 195.79 metres;

Then running by Crown land north 60° east 25.60 metres, more or less;

Then running along the low water mark of ordinary spring tide extending along the easterly shoreline of Lance Cove in a general easterly and southerly direction 376 metres, more or less;

Then running by Crown land and across the Lance Cove Road and by Crown land south 88° 06' 51" west 47.70 metres;

Then running by Crown land and by private property and by Crown land north 41' 46" west 79.46 metres;

Then running by Crown land and through private property and by Crown land north 8° 23' 38" east 138.11 metres;

Then running by Crown land and across the Lance Cove Road north 89° 33' 03" east 29.64 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning, reserving nevertheless out of the above described piece or parcel of land a portion of the Lance Cove Road running through that land, the above described piece or parcel of land containing an area of 1.88 hectares, more or less.

All bearings being referred to the meridian of 53° west longitude of the 3° Transverse Mercator Projection.
