REGULATION 11/13

Ferryland Municipal Planning Area, 2013
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000, I define the following area as the Ferryland Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point, having coordinates north 5,207,846 metres and east 311,174 metres, more or less, where Stony River enters Aquaforte Harbour;

Then running upstream along the centreline of the river's course to a point where the river intersects the Southern Shore Highway, having coordinates north 5,208,124 metres and east 310,967 metres, more or less;

Then continuing upstream to the headwaters of Stony River, having coordinates north 5,208,428 metres and east 310,315 metres, more or less;

Then running north 71 ° 1' west a distance of 440 metres, more or less, to a point on the summit of Spout Hill;

Then running north 29 ° 17' west a distance of 2785 metres, more or less, to a point on the Ferryland municipal boundary where a power transmission line intersects with the centreline of the old rail bed;

Then running northeast along the Ferryland municipal boundary to where the municipal boundary intersects the Deep Cove Pond protected water supply boundary;

Then running in a northeasterly direction along the Deep Cove Pond protected water supply boundary until it intersects the Ferryland municipal boundary;

Then running north along the Ferryland Municipal boundary to the southern shoreline of Calvert Harbour at the western entrance to Lance Cove;

Then running in a generally southerly and then easterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline via Lance Cove, Scoggins Head, Cow Cove, Freshwater Cove, Coldeast Point, Ferryland Harbour, Ferryland Head, North Head, Broom Cove, Herring Cove and Table Round Cove to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to Grid North and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50000 National Topographical (Digital) Mapping.

Ferryland Municipal Planning Area, 1998 , Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 101/98, is repealed.
