Under the authority of subsection 8(2) of the Lands Act , the minister, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council, makes the following Order.

        1. These regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Land Reserve Order .

        2. The Agricultural Land Reserve is established for the purpose of making more Crown lands available for agricultural use.

Area 1

Parcel A

All that piece or parcel of land situated and being near Nine Island Pond South in the electoral district of Placentia-St. Mary’s in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador , abutted and bounded as follows:

Commencing at a point being the most northeasterly corner of the within described parcel of land having coordinates of east 286 150 metres and north 5 247 375 metres, more or less;

Then running in a southwesterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 285 848 metres and north 5 246 848 metres, more or less;

Then running in a westerly direction to a point having coordinates of east 285 096 metres and north 5 246 813 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 285 598 metres and north 5 247 574 metres, more or less;

Commencing at a point being the most northeastern corner of the within described parcel of land having coordinates of east 286 695 metres and north 5 246 771 metres, more or less;

Then running in a southwesterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 286 156 metres and north 5 243 843 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northwesterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 285 426 metres and north 5 244 971 metres, more or less;

Then running in a northeasterly direction to the point of commencement.

Commencing at a point being the high water mark of the waters of Northwest Arm at Adeytown having coordinates of east 235 737 metres and north 5 327 222 metres, more or less;

Then running along the high water line is a southeastern direction to a point having coordinates of east 236 502 metres and north 5 327 087 metres, more or less;

Then running in a southeasterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 237 371 metres and north 5 320 890 metres, more or less;

Then running along the high water line in a northwestern and southwestern direction to a point on the northern shore of Southwest Arm at Dark Hole having coordinates of east 235 270 metres and north 5 321 543 metres, more or less;

Then running in a generally northeastern direction to the commencement.

Then running in a southwesterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 233 907 metres and north 5 310 376 metres, more or less;

Then running in a westerly direction to a point on the shore of Goobies Pond to a point having coordinates of   east 233 620 metres and north 5 310 338 metres, more or less;

Then following an irregular course and heading in a general northeasterly direction to a point having coordinates of east 241 284 metres, north 5 351 336 metres, more or less;
