Under the authority of section 10 of the Shops' Closing Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

Short title

        1. These regulations may be cited as the St. John's Regatta Day Holiday, 2020 Regulations .

Definition

        2. In these regulations, "Act" means the Shops' Closing Act .

Regatta day holiday, 2020

        3. As a result of the cancellation of the St. John's Annual Regatta for the year 2020, the holiday referred to in paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Act shall be observed in the year 2020 on Monday, August 3.
