Under the authority of subsection 14.1(7) of the Electrical Power Control Act, 1994 and section 4.1 of the Public Utilities Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited Exemption Order No. 2 .

Exemption – Electrical Power Control Act, 1994

        2. Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited is exempt from subsection 14.1(1) of the Electrical Power Control Act, 1994 for all aspects of its activities respecting the purchase of electrical power and energy from Nalcor Energy Marketing.

Exemption – Public Utilities Act

        3. Corner Brook Pulp and Paper is exempt from subsection 70(1) of the Public Utilities Act for all aspects of its activities respecting the return of electrical power and energy to Nalcor Energy Marketing, to a maximum of 105 MW, at a rate of $0.
