Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Margaree Pond, WS-S-0258, Local Service District of Fox Roost - Margaree
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as the Margaree Pond Water Supply Area, WS-S-0258, for the Local Service District of Fox Roost - Margaree as a protected water supply area .

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Burgeo – La Poile abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,779 metres and northing 5,271,532 metres;

Then running in a northwesterly direction for a distance of 196 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,700 metres and northing 5,271,711 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 93 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,677 metres and northing 5,271,801 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 114 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,671 metres and northing 5,271,915 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 92 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,710 metres and northing 5,271,998 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 106 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,815 metres and northing 5,272,011 metres;

Then running in a northerly direction for a distance of 66 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,835 metres and northing 5,272,074 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 61 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,864 metres and northing 5,272,128 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 41 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,901 metres and northing 5,272,146 metres;

Then running in an easterly direction for a distance of 24 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 345,925 metres and northing 5,272,142 metres;

All coordinates refer to Zone 21 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Watershed Area , Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 645/96, is repealed .
