Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Steve's Pond, WS-S-0006, Town of Arnold's Cove
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as Steve's Pond Protected Public Water Supply Area, WS-S-0006, for the Town of Arnold's Cove, as a protected public water supply area .

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Placentia West - Bellevue abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 281,449 metres and northing 5,296,738 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 236 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 281,595 metres and northing 5,296,553 metres;

Then running in a northeasterly direction for a distance of 444 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 281,973 metres and northing 5,296,785 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 507 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 282,389 metres and northing 5,296,495 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 1253 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 281,896 metres and northing 5,295,343 metres;

Then running in a southeasterly direction for a distance of 361 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 282,166 metres and northing 5,295,103 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 241 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 281,996 metres and northing 5,294,932 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 201 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 281,795 metres and northing 5,294,943 metres;

All coordinates refer to Zone 22 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Water Supply Area , Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 501/96, is repealed .
