Notice of Protected Water Supply Area of Little Island Pond,
WS-S-0126, Town of Carbonear
under the
Water Resources Act

Under the authority of section 39 of the Water Resources Act , I designate the area generally known as Little Island Pond Protected Public Water Supply Area, WS-S-0126, for the Town of Carbonear as a protected public water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands in the Provincial Electoral District of Carbonear – Trinity – Bay de Verde abutted and bounded as follows:

Beginning at a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 327,392 metres and northing 5,287,292 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 738 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 327,524 metres and northing 5,286,566 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 904 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 327,383 metres and northing 5,285,673 metres;

Then running in a southerly direction for a distance of 111 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 327,365 metres and northing 5,285,563 metres;

Then running in a southwesterly direction for a distance of 1073 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 326,583 metres and northing 5,284,829 metres;

Then running in a westerly direction for a distance of 2110 metres, more or less, to a point having scaled UTM coordinates of easting 324,481 metres and northing 5,284,646 metres;

All coordinates refer to Zone 22 of the NAD 83 Universal Transverse Mercator Projection.

The Notice of Protected Watershed Area , Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 623/96, is repealed .
