Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Frenchman's Cove Order .

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Frenchman 's Cove are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 648/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a coastal point in “The Ridge” at Frenchman's Cove, that point being at UTM grid co-ordinate 621 910 metres east, 5 230 430 metres north;

Then running south 25° 30' east 6,200 metres, more or less;

Then running south 21° west 6,770 metres, more or less;

Then running north 70° west 8,800 metres, more or less;

Then following the coastline by way of Island Rock Point, White Point, Seal Cove Point and Frenchman's Head to the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 Map 1 M/3, edition 3, 1988.
