Under the authority of section 257 of the Municipalities Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Rushoon Order .

        3. Newfoundland Regulation 802/78 is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at a point in the centre line of the Rushoon Access Road, Route 210-21, that point being 600 metres, more or less, from the access road to Baine Harbour, Route 210-19;

Then running south 16° east 1,225 metres, more or less, to a point in the centre line of the secondary highroad connecting Baine Harbour and Rushoon;

Then running south 61° east 1,525 metres, more or less, to a point at highwater mark on the shoreline at Miller's Pt.;

Then running in a generally southwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline at highwater mark to Rushoon Head;

Then running in a generally northwesterly direction along the sinuosities of the eastern shoreline of Rushoon Harbour to the sandbar where the Rushoon River empties into the Rushoon Harbour ;

Then crossing the sandbar and running in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of the western shoreline of the harbour to a point 1,000 metres, more or less, due west to the most southerly point of Rushoon Head;

Then running due west 2,400 metres, more or less, to a point 150 metres, more or less, west of the centre line of the highroad between Rushoon and Red Harbour;

Then running in a generally northeasterly direction parallel to and 150 metres from the centre line of Route 210-21 to a point 150 metres, more or less, northeast of the point of beginning.

Then in a southeasterly direction 150 metres, more or less, to the point of beginning.

All bearings herein refer to the true meridian and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 National Topographic Mapping.
