Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act
and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act,
the Lieutenant-Governor in Council designates the area generally known as the Shingle Pond Water Supply Area for the Town of Long Harbour and
NOTICE This area includes all lands described as follows: That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 286000 5260000 105° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 625 metres to the commencement point; Then from the above point by a line drawn 94° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 700 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 38° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 600 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 127° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 750 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 202° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,950 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 245° 00 grid azimuth for a distance of 450 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 271° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 900 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 241° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 250 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 341° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 300 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 38° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 800 metres; Then from the above point by a line drawn 11° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 1,200 metres to the point of commencement.
