Southern Harbour Municipal Planning Area
Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Southern Harbour Municipal Planning Area. PLANNING
Beginning at a point where the southern boundary of Jack's
Then following the park boundary in a generally easterly direction 400 metres to a point west of the centre line of the Trans
Then following a line parallel to and 400 metres from the centre line of the Trans Canada Highway in a generally southerly and southeasterly direction to a point, and from that point south 37° 30' west 2,400 metres, more or less, to a mountaintop; Then running south 81° 30' west 1,000 metres, more or less, to a point at the highwater mark on the northern shoreline of La Manche Bay; Then following the shoreline by way of La Manche Head, Little Southern Harbour, Butler Head and Great Southern Harbour to the point of beginning.
