CONSOLIDATED NEWFOUNDLAND AND LABRADOR REGULATION 933/96

Southern Harbour Municipal Planning Area
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act
(O.C. 96-173)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act and the Subordinate Legislation Revision and Consolidation Act , the Lieutenant-Governor in Council defines the following area as the Southern Harbour Municipal Planning Area.

PLANNING AREA

Beginning at a point where the southern boundary of Jack's Pond Pro vincial Park intersects the eastern shoreline of Great Southern Harbour;

Then following the park boundary in a generally easterly direction 400 metres to a point west of the centre line of the Trans Canada Highway;

Then following a line parallel to and 400 metres from the centre line of the Trans Canada Highway in a generally southerly and southeasterly direction to a point, and from that point south 37° 30' west 2,400 metres, more or less, to a mountaintop;

Then running south 81° 30' west 1,000 metres, more or less, to a point at the highwater mark on the northern shoreline of La Manche Bay;

Then following the shoreline by way of La Manche Head, Little Southern Harbour, Butler Head and Great Southern Harbour to the point of beginning.

All bearings refer to the grid north.
