Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
of Jimmy's Pond
under the
Environment Act

(Filed August 23, 1999)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act , I designate the area generally known as the Jimmy's Pond Water Supply Area for the Local Service District of Merritts Harbour as a protected water supply area.

NOTICE

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference, Zone 21, 669,000 metres east 5,498,000 metres north 50° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 600 metres to the commencement point;

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 341 ° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 800 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 68 ° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 550 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 183 ° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 375 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 199 ° 45' grid azimuth for a distance of 650 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to Grid North.
