Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows:

Short title

        1. This Act may be cited as the Avian Emblem Act .

Atlantic puffin

        2. The bird known scientifically asFratercula arctica and popularly called the Atlantic puffin is the avian emblem of the province.
