EXPLANATORY NOTE The Bill would repeal paragraph 50(1)(b) of the Liquor Corporation Act which had the unintended result of requiring liquor agency stores to observe public holidays notwithstanding that such establishments are exempt from the Shops' Closing Act.
A BILL AN ACT TO AMEND THE LIQUOR CORPORATION ACT Analysis 1. S.50 Amdt. Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: RSNL1990 cL-19 as amended 1. Paragraph 50(1)(b) of the Liquor Corporation Act is repealed.
