A BILL AN ACT TO AMEND THE PROCEEDINGS AGAINST THE CROWN ACT Analysis 1.
S.16.1 Added Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: RSNL1990 cP-26 1. The Proceedings Against the Crown Act is amended by adding immediately after section 16 the following: Enforcement of orders 16.1 (1) In this section, "Agreement on Internal Trade" means the Agreement on Internal Trade, signed in 1994 by the Governments of Canada, the provinces, Yukon and the Northwest Territories, as amended from time to time. (2) A certified copy of an order made by a presiding body under Article 1706.1(4)(b), 1706.1(6), 1707(11)(b) or 1716(3) of the Agreement on Internal Trade that requires the Crown to pay tariff costs or a monetary penalty, or both, may be filed with the Trial Division and, on being filed, has the same force and effect as an order for the payment of money made by the court against the Crown. ©William E.
