The Committees of the House
Forty-Fifth General Assembly - Fourth Session - 2007
Appointment
The Standing Orders of the House provide for the appointment of a 5 member
committee, on the motion of the Leader of the House or another Government
member, known as the
Striking Committee, whose role it is to prepare lists
of Members to compose several Standing Committees of the House.
The Standing Committees appointed for the 45th General Assembly are
- the Public Accounts Committee,
- the Government Services Committee,
- the Resource Committee, and
- the Social Services Committee.
