What does a Page do?
Pages are hired to work as messengers in the House of Assembly when it is in session. They work as a team to provide assistance to Members, Table Officers and staff of the Legislature.
Who can apply?
You can apply if:
* You are attending a post-secondary institution (university or public/private college),
* Your afternoons are free,
* You have a keen interest in the legislative process of the Province.
Note: Uniforms are provided
What are the hours?
Pages are employed during the fall and spring sittings of the House of Assembly (dates will vary).When the House is in session, working hours for a Page are as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday: 12:30 - 6:00 pmNote: There may be an occasional evening shift during night sittings of the House of Assembly
Wednesday: 1:00 - 5:30 pm
What is the pay?
Wages are competitive with those paid to students working in Provincial Government departments.Are you interested?
