Town of Port Blandford Order, 1996

Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Port Blandford Order, 1996.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Port Blandford are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 373/96 is repealed.


Schedule

Beginning at Middle Point on the eastern shoreline of Clode Sound and running south 2° east 8,525 metres, more or less;

Then running south 88° west 6,400 metres, more or less;

Then running north 12° 100 metres, more or less;

Then running south 67° 30' east 2,200 metres, more or less;

Then running south 1° east 1,280 metres, more or less, to the northern shoreline of Northwest Arm;

Then following the shoreline of Clode Sound by way of Port Blandford to Middle Point, the point of beginning.

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and, as with distances given, are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 mapping.
