Notice of Protected Water Supply Area
under the
Environment Act

(Filed April 2, 1996)

Under the authority of section 10 of the Environment Act, the Minister of Environment and Labour designates the area generally known as the Brent's Cove Water Supply Area for the Community of Brent's Cove as a protected water supply area.

This area includes all lands described as follows:

That is to say by a line drawn from military grid reference 594,000 5,532,000 15° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 400 metres to the commencement point.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 272° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 425 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 304° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 400 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 269° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 350 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 316° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 125 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 13° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 450 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 78° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 800 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 90° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 600 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 185° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 525 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 236° 00' grid azimuth for a distance of 300 metres.

Then from the above point by a line drawn at 185° 30' grid azimuth for a distance of 250 metres to the point of commencement.

All bearings refer to grid north.
