Newfoundland Regulation 1996 Stephenville
Municipal Planning Area, 1996 Under the authority of section 11 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, I define the following area as the Stephenville Municipal Planning Area, 1996. Dated at Arthur D. Reid PLANNING Beginning at mouth of Gadon's Brook and following that brook to a power transmission line and then along that line to the northeastern end of Island Pond; Then running north 1,800 metres, more or less; Then running north 6° west 2,300 metres, more or less, to a point on Romaines Brook and following that brook to a point situated north 37° east 8,500 metres, more or less, from that point; Then running north 86° east 7,750 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill; Then running south 75° east 3,200 metres, more or less, to the northeastern end of Crooked Lake; Then running south 19° east 6,800 metres, more or less, to the northeastern end of Mistaken Pond; Then running south 39° west 4,500 metres, more or less, to a stream from Long Gull Pond and following that stream to its intersection with Rushy Brook; Then running north 89° west 4,550 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill; Then running south 43° west 1,700 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill northeast of Gull Pond; Then running south 21° west 2,380 metres, more or less, to the top of a hill south of Gull Pond; Then running south 45° west 3,800 meters, more or less, to Indian Head; Then following the
coastline of All bearings refer to UTM grid and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 mapping. The
