Teacher (Certification) Regulations, 1988 (Amendment)

Under the authority of section 11 of the Teacher Training Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. Subsection 2(2) of the Teacher (Certification) Regulations, 1988 is repealed and the following substituted:

(2) Unless the context otherwise requires, a reference to a degree or a diploma means a degree or a diploma awarded by Memorial University, or a degree or a diploma awarded by, or evidence satisfactory to the registrar of successful completion of a program of, another recognized educational institution that, in the opinion of the registrar, is equivalent to a degree or a diploma awarded by Memorial University.
