Beverage Container Control Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Packaging Material Act
(O.C. 96‑951)

Under the authority of subsection 4(2) and section 6 of the Packaging Material Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

Delegation of board's powers

        1. Paragraph 3(1)(d) of the Beverage Container Control Regulations is amended by adding the words "or entering into contractual arrangements" after the word "staff".

        2. These regulations are amended by adding immediately after section 3 the following:

Delegation of board's powers

      3.1 (1) The board may, subject to the approval of the Lieutenant‑Governor in Council, delegate the powers, duties and functions given to the board in these regulations to another person or agency.

             (2)  Where the board makes a delegation under subsection (1), a delegated person or agency shall be considered to be in the place of the board for the purpose of the delegated authority under these regulations.
