Under the authority of section 28 of the Automobile Dealers Act, the Lieutenant‑Governor makes the following regulations.

1. Subsections 3(2), (3) and (4) of the Automobile Dealers Regulations are repealed and the following substituted:

(2) Registration as an automobile dealer under the Act is valid upon payment, subject to the filing of annual reports and payments of an annual fee as prescribed by the minister unless before that time it is cancelled or suspended.

2. (1) Subsection 4(2) of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

(2) The amount of each bond required under subsection (1) shall be as determined by the minister.

(2) Paragraph 4(3)(b) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "or automobile salesperson".

(3) Subsection 4(5) of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "or salesperson".

3. Section 7 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "application for renewal of registration" and substituting the word "filing".

4. Section 10 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "or salesperson of the automobile dealer".

5. Section 12 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "or salesperson" wherever they appear.

6. Section 14 of the regulations is amended by deleting the words "and salespersons of automobile dealers".
