Towns of Plate Cove East and Plate Cove West Special Election
and Appointment of Returning Officer Order
under the
Municipalities Act

Under the authority of section 507 of the Municipalities Act, I make the following Order.

Special elections ordered

1. Special elections for member councils are ordered to be held in the Towns of Plate Cove East and Plate Cove West, on September 30, 1997.

Returning officer appointed

2. Mr. Barry Mavin is appointed as the Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting both elections under section 1.
