Importation of Milk Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Newfoundland Milk Marketing Scheme
and
Natural Products Marketing Act

Under the authority of paragraph 5(k) of the Newfoundland Milk Marketing Scheme and the Natural Products Marketing Act, the Newfoundland Milk Marketing Board makes the following regulations.

        1. Section 6 of the Importation of Milk Regulations is amended by renumbering it as subsection 6(1) and by adding immediately after that subsection the following:

             (2)  Notwithstanding subsection (1), the board may issue to a processor for a limited period of time

             (a)  a permit to import into the province; or

             (b)  a licence to process, distribute and market within the province,

milk in any form for the purpose of test marketing the milk for sale to consumers or institutions within the province.
