Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary Regulations, 1998
under the
Pharmaceutical Association Act, 1994

Under the authority of section 63 of the Pharmaceutical Association Act, 1994, I make the following regulations.

Short title

        1. These regulations may be cited as the Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary Regulations, 1998.

Formulary available

        2. The Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary is on file with the minister and copies may be obtained from the office of the Newfoundland and Labrador Prescription Drug Program.

Effective period

        3. The drugs and prices set out in the Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary shall be effective on the dates specified in the Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary.

Lowest price mandatory

        4. Mandatory charging of the lowest price comes into effect for new drug categories on the date indicated in the Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary.

Repeal

        5. The Interchangeable Drug Products Formulary Regulations, Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 991/96, are repealed.
