Spring open season

NR 12/98

1. Section 2 of the Open Season Spring Big Game Black Bear Hunting and Snaring Order, Newfoundland, 1998 is amended by adding immediately after subsection (2) the following:

(3) Notwithstanding subsections (1) and (2) within Moose Management Area 6, an area that is found south of a straight line drawn at latitude 48° 40' from Broad Cove Point in Port au Port Bay through the community of Spruce Brook to the Trans Canada Highway the open season is suspended from June 15 to June 19, 1998 inclusive.
