Newfoundland Regulation 1998 Ferryland
Municipal Planning Area, 1998 (Filed
December 1, 1998) Under the
authority of section 11 of the Urban and
Rural Planning Act, I define the following area as the Ferryland Municipal Planning Area, 1998. Dated

Reid PLANNING Beginning at a
point where Then upstream
along the centerline of the river's course to a point being the intersection of
the Southern Then
continuing upstream to a point at the headwaters having MTM co-ordinates north
5,208,210, east 310,318; Then north 79° west a distance of 513 metres to a point on the summit of
Spout Hill having MTM co-ordinates north 520,880, east 309,833. Then north 25°
a distance of 2,800 metres to a point being the intersection of a power
transmission line with the centreline of the old rail bed having UTM
co-ordinates north 5,211,150, east 351,850. Then north 78°
east a distance of 4,350 metres to a point on the southern shoreline of Calvert
Harbour at the western entrance of Lance Cove having MTM co-ordinates north
5,212,075, east 356,075. Then running in a generally southerly direction along the sinuosities of
the shoreline via Scoggins Head, Coldest Point, All bearings
refer to grid north and, as with co-ordinates, are subject to approximation as
determined from 3° MTM and 6° UTM series mapping. Ferryland Municipal
Planning Area,
