Advance Polls Order
under the
Elections Act, 1991

Under the authority of section 124 of the Elections Act, 1991, I make the following Order.

Schedule

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Advance Polls Order.

Advance Poll to be held

        2. An Advance Poll in all Electoral Districts in respect of the General Election of February 9, 1999 will be held on Saturday, February 6, 1999.

Eligible electors

        3. Electors who have reason to believe that they will have difficulty voting on polling day in the polling division in which they are ordinarily resident may vote at the Advance Polling Station in their Electoral District.

Time and location of advance polls

        4. Advance Polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Newfoundland Standard Time ( 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in parts of Labrador which are on Atlantic Time) at the locations described in the Schedule.
