Under the authority of section 30 of the Social Assistance Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

1. Paragraph 2(1)(e) of the Social Assistance Regulations is amended by striking out the word "or" at the end of subparagraph (iv), by striking out the semicolon at the end of subparagraph (v) and substituting a comma and by adding immediately after subparagraph (v) the following:

(vi) a payment under the 1986-1990 Hepatitis C Settlement Agreement, unless the payment is compensation for loss of income or loss of support under sections 4.02 or 6.01 of the Transfused HCV or Hemophiliac HCV Plans, or

(vii) the Newfoundland and Labrador low income senior's benefit;
