The Town of King's Point Order, Consolidated Schedule Beginning
at a point on the highwater mark of the eastern shoreline of Southwest Arm at
the mouth of an unnamed brook, having NAD 83, UTM co-ordinates north 5,494,584
metres and east 561,422 metres; Then
south 55° 57' east, 1,840 metres, more or
less, to a point on Highway 391 where it crosses over South Brook; Then south
64° 45' east, 625 metres, more or less,
to a Then
south 52° 30' west, 3,300 metres, more or
less, to a Then
south 39° 00' west, 3,950 metres, more or
less to a Then
south 63° 55' west, 626 metres, more or less,
to a point at the intersection of Route 391 with an unnamed road (old Highway); Then
north 80° 15' west, 2,452 metres, more or
less, to a point on Shoal Pond forest access road; Then
north 9° 15' east 800 metres, more or less,
to a point on the south eastern boundary of a mining lease to Major General
Resources Ltd. # 153 (3407) being registered June 24, 1998, Vol. 1, Fol. 50, at
the Department of Mines and Energy; Then
following the boundary of the lease north 3° 27' 47" east, 200.09 metres,
north 86° 33' 57" west, 400 metres,
north 40° 7' 27" west, 204.14 metres,
north 35° 37' 29" west, 318.5 metres,
NAD 83 and bearings being referred to True North, to a point, having NAD 83,
UTM co-ordinates north 5,489,841 metres and east 554,763 m; Then
north 17° 15' west, 2,575 metres, more or
less to a Then
north 37° 30' west, 1,050 metres, more or
less, to a Then
north 82° 00' west, 1,425 metres, more or
less, to a Then
north 17° 00' east, 1,500 metres, more or
less, to a Then
north 79° 30' east, 5,525 metres, more or
less, to a point, Then
north 77° 31' east, 1,468 metres, more or
less, to a point on the western shoreline of Southwest Arm at the mouth of
Corner Brook where it flows into Corner Brook Cove; Then in
a southerly direction along the sinuosities of the shoreline at the high water
mark passing King's Point to the southernmost extremity of Southwest Arm and
then in a northerly direction along the western shoreline of Southwest Arm to
the point of beginning. All bearings being referred Grid North and as with distances given are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50,000 NTS mapping and with reference to the survey at the Department of Mines and Energy. ©Earl G.
