Registrar's Compensation Rule (Repeal)
under the
Trustee Act
and
Judicature Act

Under the authority of section 52 of the Trustee Act and section 55 of the Judicature Act, the Rules Committee of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland makes the following rule.

CNR 972/96 Rep.

        1. The Registrar's Compensation Rule, Consolidated Newfoundland Regulation 972/96, is repealed.

Continuation

        2. The Registrar's Compensation Rule, Rule 59 of the Rules of the Supreme Court, 1986, Newfoundland Regulation 153/95, which came into force on January 1, 1996, is confirmed in force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

CNR 972/96 is repealed in order to avoid duplication and to accommodate NR 153/95, being Rule 59.  Rule 59 came into effect from and including January 1, 1996, and is reaffirmed to be in force.
