Lottery Scheme, 1985 General Rules
(Amendment)
under the
Criminal Code
and
(M.C. 1081-82)

Under the authority granted by the Lieutenant-Governor in Council by Minute of Council 1081-82 and subsection 207(2) of the Criminal Code, I make the following regulations.

        1. (1) Rule 1 of Schedule A of the Lottery Scheme, 1985 General Rules is amended by striking out subsection (2) and substituting the following:

             (2)  Notwithstanding paragraph (1)(f), the minister may permit a licensee to operate according to the following schedule:

             (a)  a minimum of 5% return in the first 6 months of operation;

             (b)  a minimum of 10% return in the 6 month period commencing at the end of the period referred to in paragraph (a); and

             (c)  a minimum of 15% return following the expiry of the period referred to in paragraph (b).

             (2)  This section comes into force on January 1, 2001.
