Waste Management Regulations

Waste Management Act

Under the authority of section 7 of the Waste Management Act, the Lieutenant Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

        1. Section 14 of the Waste Management Regulations is amended by adding immediately after subsection (1) the following:

          (1.1)  The amount of the deposit referred to in subsection (1) and the refund of the deposit referred to in section 18 includes any applicable tax imposed under Part IX of the Excise Tax Act (Canada).

 

        2. Section 22 of the regulations is repealed and the following substituted:

      22. Paragraphs 12(a), (b) and (c) and subsections 14(1.1) and (5) are considered to have come into force on January 15, 1997.
