Protected Road Zoning Regulations (Amendment)
under the
Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000

(Filed March 6, 2001)

Under the authority of section 32 of the Urban and Rural Planning Act, 2000, I make the following regulations.

        1. (1) Schedule B of the Protected Road Zoning Regulations is amended by adding immediately after Item (13) in the portion dealing with Class II Protected Roads the following:

(13.1) NEWFOUNDLAND-QUEBEC BORDER

Route 500 from the Newfoundland-Quebec border to its intersection with Hamilton River Road in the Town of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, but excluding that portion of the highway within the planning areas of the Town of Labrador City and the Town of Wabush.


             (2)  Schedule B of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after Item (16) in the portion dealing with Class II Protected Roads the following:

(16.1) RED BAY TO CARTWRIGHT COASTAL ROAD

The Red Bay to Cartwright Coastal Road (Route 510), as existing and proposed, from its intersection with the Red Bay local road in the Town of Red Bay to its intersection with the airstrip road in the Town of Cartwright.

             (3)  Schedule B of the regulations is amended by adding immediately after Item (2) in the portion dealing with Class III Protected Roads the following:

(2.1) CHARLOTTETOWN ACCESS ROAD

The Charlottetown Access Road (Route 514) from its intersection with the Red Bay to Cartwright Coastal Road (Route 510) to its intersection with the airstrip access road in the Town of Charlottetown.

             (4)  Schedule B of the regulations is amended by adding at the end of the portion dealing with Class III Protected Roads the following:

(6) ST. LEWIS ACCESS ROAD

The St. Lewis Access Road (Route 512) from its intersection with the Red Bay to Cartwright Coastal Road (Route 510) to a point where it crosses the west boundary of the St. Lewis Municipal Planning Area.
