Open Season Big Game Caribou Hunting Order,
Labrador, 2000-2001 (Amendment)
under the
Wild Life Regulations
and the
Wild Life Act

Under the authority of sections 38, 92 and 114 of the Wild Life Regulations and the Wild Life Act, I make the following Order.

        1. Subsection 4(1) of the Open Season Big Game Caribou Hunting Order, Labrador, 2000-2001 is repealed and the following substituted:

Open seasons

        4. (1) There shall be an open season in the following zones:

George River Zone	August 10, 2000 - April 30, 2001
Torngat Mountain Zone	August 10, 2000 - April 30, 2001
Big River Zone	December 19, 2000 – April 30, 2001
Bay of Islands Zone	December 19, 2000 - April 30, 2001
Orma North Zone	January 12, 2001 – April 30, 2001

 

        2. Section 5 of the Order is repealed and the following substituted:

Closed season

        5. There shall be a closed season in the following zones:

             (a)  Nipishish Lake Zone;

             (b)  Mulligan River Zone;

             (c)  Seal Lake Zone;

             (d)  Double Mer Barrens Zone;

             (e)  Grand Lake Zone;

              (f)  Michikamau East Zone;

             (g)  Twin Falls Zone;

             (h)  Lac Virot Zone;

              (i)  Sawbill Lake Zone;

              (j)  Michikamau West Zone;

             (k)  Colville Lake Zone;

              (l)  Milner Lake Zone;

            (m)  McPhayden River Zone; and

             (n)  Orma South Zone.
