Newfoundland Regulation 2001 Special Elections and Special By-Elections Order,
2001 (Filed Under the
authority of section 7 of the Municipal
Elections Act, I make the following Order. Dated at Oliver
Langdon ORDER Analysis 1. Short
title 2. Special
elections 3. Special
by-elections Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Special Elections and Special By-Elections
Order, 2001. Special elections 2. It is ordered that special
elections be held as follows: (a) for
a 5 member council in the Town of Baine Harbour on (b) for a 5 member council in the Town of (c) for
a 7 member council in the Town of Biscay Bay on (d) for
a 5 member council in the Town of (e) for a 7 member council in the Town of (f) for a 7 member council in the Town of Change Islands, on (g) for
a 5 member council in the Town of (h) for a 5 member council in the Town of (i) for a 5 member council in the Town of (j) for a 5 member council in the Town of (k) for
a 5 member council in the Town of (l) for a 5 member council in the Town of (m) for
a 5 member council in the Town of (n) for
a 5 member council in the Town of Point of Bay on (o) for a 5 member council in the Town of Sally's Cove on October 30, 2001, and that Inez Roberts be appointed as returning officer for the purpose of conducting that election; and (p) for a 5 member council in the Town of Special by-elections 3. It is ordered that special
by-elections be held as follows: (a) to elect 4 members to the Town Council in the Town of (b) to elect 5 members to the Town Council in the Town of (c) to elect 5 members to the Town Council in the Town of (d) to elect 4 members to the Town Council in the Town of (e) to elect 3 members to the Town Council in the Town of (f) to elect 4 members to the Town Council in the Town of Irishtown-Summerside on October 30, 2001, and that Geraldine Wheeler be appointed as returning officer for the purpose of conducting that by-election; (g) to elect 5 members to the Town Council in the Town of (h) to elect 4 members to the Town Council in the Town of Point Lance on
(i) to elect 3 members to the Town Council in
the Town of (j) to elect 3 members to the Town Council in
the Town of (k) to elect 4 members to the Town Council in the Town of St. Mary's on October 30, 2001, and that Theresa Power be appointed as returning officer for the purpose of conducting that by-election; and (l) to elect 3 members to the Town Council in
