Commission of Administration of the Town of Witless Bay Order
under the
Municipal Affairs Act

Under the authority of section 6 of the Municipal Affairs Act, I make the following Order.

ORDER

Commission of administration

        1. Mr. Maurice Tuff, Mr. Kevin Smart and Mrs. Barbara Carey are appointed as a Commission of Administration to manage and conduct the affairs of the Town of Witless Bay, until a time that may be determined by my department..

Further appointments

        2. Mr. Maurice Tuff is appointed as the chairperson and convenor and Mrs. Barbara Carey is appointed as the deputy-chairperson and deputy-convenor of the commission. 

Effective date of appointments

        3. The appointments under section 1 and 2 shall have effect from January 1, 2002.

Repeal

        4. The Official Administrator for the Town of Witless Bay Order, Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 16/00 is repealed.
