Under the authority of section 4 of the Health and Community Services Act, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

1. Section 16 of the Central Regional Health and Community Services Board Order is repealed and the following substituted:

Meetings

16. (1) The board shall

(a) meet on a regular basis as prescribed in the by-laws; and

(b) hold one public meeting annually to report on the previous year's activities.

(2) Except where prohibited in the by-laws made under section 27, a member of the board may, where all the members consent, participate in a meeting of the board by means of the telephone or other telecommunication device that permits all persons participating in the meeting to hear each other.

(3) A member of the board who participates in a meeting by the means described in subsection (2) is, for the purpose of this Order, present at and in attendance at that meeting.
