Rules of the Supreme Court, 1986 (Amendment)
under the
Judicature Act

Under the authority of section 55 of the Judicature Act, the Rules Committee of the Trial Division makes the following Rules.

THE REGISTRAR'S COMPENSATION RULE


 

        1. Rule 4 of the Rules of the Supreme Court, 1986 is amended by renumbering rule 4.01 as 4.01(1) and by adding immediately after that rule the following:

             (2)  All forms that contain a reference to "Newfoundland" are amended to refer to "Newfoundland and Labrador".

             (3)  All pleadings and other documents filed in the Court shall, when referring to the Trial Division in the style of cause or otherwise, refer to it as: "Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador, Trial Division".

 

        2. Rule 59.02 of the Rules is amended by adding immediately after the words "when acting as a trustee" the words "or guardian".
