Under the authority of section 88 of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Canada), the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

ORDER

Short title

1. This Order may be cited as the Level of Custody Determinations Order.

Level of custody

2. The power to make determinations of the level of custody for young persons and to review those determinations under the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Canada) shall be exercised in accordance with the Young Offenders Act, chapter Y-1 of the Revised Statutes of Canada, 1985.

Commencement

3. This Order shall come into effect on April 1, 2003.
