under the
Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act
(O.C. 2004-144)

Under the authority of section 123 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Act, the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission, with the approval of the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following regulations.

        1. Section 21 of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Regulations is amended by adding immediately after subsection (3) the following:

             (4)  Notwithstanding another provision of this section, from January 1, 2004 to December 31, 2004 inclusive, the maximum compensable and assessable earnings amount shall be $45,500 in annual gross wages.

Commencement

        2. This regulation shall be considered to have come into force on January 1, 2004.
