Open Season Big Game Moose Hunting Order, (Filed Under the
authority of sections 38 and 114 of the Wild
Life Regulations and the Wild Life
Act, I make the following Order. Dated at Tom

limit 6. Prohibition 7. Repeal Schedule Short title 1. This Order may be cited as the Open Season Big Game Moose Hunting Order,
Newfoundland, 2004-2005. Moose management areas 2. The moose management areas shall be
as described in the Schedule. Open seasons 3. (1) The open seasons for moose
hunting in the areas described in the Schedule shall be

addition to subsection (1), hunting by bow and arrow only shall be permitted in
the following areas for the periods indicated:
(3) Notwithstanding
subsections (1) and (2) there shall be no open season in Area 43 for moose that
are predominately white in colour. Proof of sex 4. The holder of a big game licence to
hunt, take or kill female only animals shall, upon request of a wildlife
officer, produce the head of the animal. Bag limit 5. The bag limit is one moose as
specified in each licence. Prohibition 6. A person shall not transport or
possess any firearms under the authority of a valid game licence without being
in possession of an outdoor identification card, or non-resident equivalent
card, issued to the person. Repeal 7. The Open
Season Big Game Moose Hunting Order, Newfoundland, 2003-2004, Newfoundland
and Labrador Regulation 102/03, is repealed. Schedule (a) Management Area 1 - All that area
