Town of Trinity Bay North General Election Order
under the
Municipalities Act, 1999
and the
Municipal Elections Act

Under the authority of sections 13, 14 and 16 of the Municipalities Act, 1999 and sections 12 and 13 of the Municipal Elections Act, I make the following Order.

Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Trinity Bay North General Election Order.

General election

        2. The general election for the Town of Trinity Bay North shall be held on November 30, 2004.

Returning officer

        3. Ms Melinda Mackey is appointed as returning officer for the purpose of conducting the election and Ms. Valerie Rogers is appointed as the alternate returning officer.

Council

        4. The council which is to have control and management of the Town of Trinity Bay North shall consist of 7 persons.

Wards

        5. The Town of Trinity Bay North is divided into 3 wards and one councillor is to be elected in each of the 3 wards and 4 councillors are to be elected at large.

        6. This Order shall be read together with the Town of Trinity Bay North Order, Newfoundland and Labrador Regulation 125/04.
