Under the authority of section 3 of the Municipalities Act, 1999, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council makes the following Order.

Schedule


Short title

        1. This Order may be cited as the Town of Winterland Order, 2005.

Boundaries

        2. The boundaries of the Town of Winterland are as set out in the Schedule.

Repeal

        3. The Town of Winterland Order, Consolidated Newfoundland and Labrador 486/96, is repealed.

Schedule

Beginning at the mouth of West Brook at the northern end of Southwest Arm and running north 70° 30' west 7,500 metres, more or less;

Then south 21° west 6,193 metres, more or less, to a point on a river locally known as Clancey's Feeder;

Then south 63° east 4,230 metres, more or less, to a point on river locally known as Deep Brook;

Then north 74° east 3,150 metres, more or less;

Then north 52° east 4,200 metres, more or less, and then generally following the centre of Southwest Arm, crossing the highway to Winterland, to the place of beginning.

All bearings being referred to UTM grid and, as with distances given, are subject to approximation as delineated on the 1:50 000 Map 1 M/3, Edition 3, 1988.
