Tamper resistant NLR 80/98 1. Section 1 of the Pharmaceutical Association Regulations, 1998 is repealed and the following substituted: Short title 1. These
regulations may be cited as the Pharmacy
Regulations. 2. The regulations are amended by adding immediately after section 44 the following: PART VI.1 Tamper resistant prescription drug pads 44.1 A
pharmacist shall not dispense a drug included in the list of Schedule I drugs
approved by the minister under subsection 45(1) under the heading "Tamper
Resistant Prescription Drug Pad Program" unless the person prescribing the
drug has written or typed the prescription on a tamper resistant prescription
drug pad approved by and provided to the person by the minister, or a person or
body on behalf of the minister, and the written or typed prescription is
presented to the pharmacist or faxed in accordance with standards of practice
